Help the Firepup reach all our kids
The Westchester Community Image Council recently made a contribution to the Westchester Fire Department's fire prevention program. A recent Suburban Life article alerted us to the department's efforts to raise money to bring materials from the National Fire Safety Council's "Firepup" educational outreach program into our schools.
The $500 contribution made by the WCIC will provide enough age-appropriate books, pamphlets, coloring books and other materials for more than 275 students. We encourage other individuals or businesses to add their support to this cause.
