Local honors come to WCIC

The Westchester Chamber of Commerce has chosen the Westchester Community Image Council as the 2007 recipient of its annual "Image Award." The honor, which was announced at the Chamber's December meeting, recognizes groups and individuals who work to improve the appearance of their business or the village. There will be an official presentation of the award at the Chamber's Jan. 26 dinner dance.

 

In addition, WCIC President and Executive Director Jim Lange has been named Person of the Year by the Westchester Village Board.

 

The WCIC looks forward to working with both the Village and the Chamber in the coming year to continue our shared mission of creating a better Westchester.

 

Other awards to be given at the Chamber dinner dance include the District 92.5 Person of the Year award to Supt. Myra Sanders, and the Chamber's Person of the Year award to Horst Kniesel, a longtime Boy Scoutmaster and mentor.
