A great day for a parade
The sun was on our side for a great day on the Fourth of July. We enjoyed seeing our neighbors as we paraded with our truck loaded with a sample of what our Westchester Boulevard gardens will look like.
We were also proud to walk with the 1244th transportation unit of the National Guard out of North Riverside. These soldiers served 15 months in Iraq and just recently returned from flood relief efforts along the Mississippi River. We thank them for their service.
