Raise a glass

Thank you to everyone who joined us October 27 for the wine-tasting event at Epicurean. We enjoyed socializing with WCIC members, as well as meeting some newcomers.

Thanks to Jerry Honigberg, of Mainstreet Liquors in Countryside, who ran the tasting part of the evening. He helped make the evening.

Additional thanks go to Cheryl Rodriguez, who donated the fantastic gift baskets that were the evening's raffle prizes. Thank you also to Barb Lucchese, who donated her talent and money to the prizes as well. We appreciate the service and great food the Epicurean served that evening. It was an inviting room, and set the tone for a festive evening.

All the money raised through this event will go back into the community. Stay tuned for more news about our upcoming projects.
